Shane's run-in with a moving car shattered his left hind leg and required amputation. Echo was literally run over by the tire of a speeding car, and his pelvis broken apart in three places. At 8-months of age, Egg Roll exhibited the neurological systems that led to the discovery of a liver shunt which required surgery to correct. These surgeries cost 10 times what APARN asks for an adoption donation. APARN takes in between 250-300 pugs a year, many of them with special needs that require these types of major surgeries. APARN is an all volunteer non-profit organization, meaning no paid staff, and no facility - all foster pugs are housed in foster homes where they are loved and cared for until a permanent adoptive family can be found. Your donations are tax deductible. Won't you please help? No donation is too small. Thank you!
