Orem, UT-- Kicked to the curb by Corporate America nearly a year ago, Scott Bronson has tried to maintain financial viability with a collection of part-time jobs: casting agent, ghost writer, substitute teacher.

Despite his general sense of optimism, anxiety and depression seem to be gaining ground in Scott's world; the highways and byways of his daily adventures grow dimmer by the hour. But soft! What light through yonder window breaks? Fighting his natural inclination toward laziness, Scott did somehow manage to complete work on a "thoroughly enjoyable" novel that he has very high hopes for. With this encouragement from his friend (and NY Times bestselling author), David Farland, "I like Scott Bronson's writing. His tales are not always easy. They aren't meant to be. But they will transport you from where you sit, from your current emotional realm, into a new realm. They will draw you into the tale, and make you bestir yourself and think about things that you do not often think about, or perhaps would not willingly think about. They will reveal hidden beauty in the world, and ultimately confront the world." Scott hopes to bolster his writing career with publication of this novel.

The fourteenth annual conference of Writing and Illustrating for Young Readers http://www.wifyr.com/ is coming up this June. This premier event is a perfect opportunity for Scott to improve the novel and associate with professionals who can bring him closer to the realization of a lifelong goal - dream - to put a thoughtful smile on the faces of readers the world over. And pay for dinner...and everything else his family stands in need of.

One thousand dollars will get him into the workshop he's got his eye on and pay for meals and travel during the week of the conference. Without your help, he won't be going.

As an added bonus - to the warm feelings you will get just for being a generous friend - Scott will name several of the secondary and tertiary characters after a select group of donors. All of them will be "good guys". The "bad guys" have already been named...after the villians of Corporate America.
