Hello, my name is Yury, and I am currently living in Poland. A few years ago, I fled Belarus due to political persecution. Starting over in a new country has been a journey filled with challenges, but I have always been determined to support my family and work toward a better future.
Recently, my life took a devastating turn. I was involved in a serious car accident while driving a rented vehicle, which left the car heavily damaged and temporarily took away my primary source of income as a taxi driver. The accident has left me with significant debts for repairs and compensation, along with ongoing living expenses for my wife, son, and me.
As an immigrant living in Poland with a temporary residence permit, I am unable to take out a loan to cover these unexpected expenses. Without access to credit, I am turning to the kindness of others to help me rebuild my life and get back on my feet.
