We all have events in our lives that inspire us.  For me, it was meeting Goliath when his owner passed.  I took in the group of horses he was with and bought him from the estate.  I found homes for all of the other horses.  I have since learned that many times people have failed to plan for their passing or medical emergency.  Many times we are called by families that have lost a loved one and now have the animals left behind to care for.  This has been one of our primary missions at Harmony New Beginnings Animal Rescue, to be there when they are left behind.   Every dollar of this fundraiser will go to care for animals whose owners have passed or have had a sudden medical emergency.  This Fund is being set up in Memory of my very special horse Goliath.  Had I not called that morning I do not know what his family would have done with the horses left behind.  Since him, we have saved many other animals that like him were simply left behind due to an unforeseen emergency.  Goliath saved me as much as I saved him.  I want to make sure that we can continue to help others like him.  --- This is a special fundraiser is that $3000 is being matched in Goliath's name to help keep others like him with a safety net. - Goliath was with me for 11 years.  I sadly lost him to colic 03/16/2017 not a day will ever go by that he is not missed.  He was a one of a kind horse!
