B Tschorn hasn't added a story.
Brian Tschorn is a retired Wildland Firefighter who lost 6 “brothers” on his hotshot crew during a deployment. He has lost many other close friends and mentors including Marc Mullenix and Granite Mountain Hotshots founder and Superintendent Eric Marsh.
Brian struggled to find a career path after stepping away from wildfire and has continued to give back to his community by raising money for the Wildland Firefighter Foundation, donating time to his local church, and founding an Organic farm in memory of the 19 Granite Mountain hotshots who lost their lives in the Yarnell Hill Fire. The produce grown is donated to local food cupboards for families in need. Brian is an advocate for programs to be formed to help fellow Wildland firefighters in need after experiencing such traumatic events like being burned over and losing crewmembers. These brave men and women sadly do not have the same recognition and resources our US Military does.
Additionally, Brian is a loving husband and is community driven to help those in need. We are raising money to help pay legal expenses. Please help Brian in his time of need so he may continue to help others in theirs.
