Thank you to all our supporters over the past 5 years. Without you, we could not have successfully helped those in need. Although we have had many success stories, there are still thousands of still in need. Help us by donating today!

This is our first fundraiser of 2014, and your finanical support is needed!

Being in business 5 years is a major milestone for DO Foundation, it means a long-standing history of serving and housing more than 500+ families, ultimately becoming an organization standing in partnership to end homelessness.
DO Foundation was founded in February 2009 by Brian ONeal and Kelly Adolph in an effort to create immediate relief to those living on the streets of Detroit and surrounding areas.  In 2011 our Homeless Stabilization Supportive Living Initiative gave many families and single adults shelter, case management and the essential tools needed to establish permanent residency and long lasting change.
With the increasing need for advocacy and housing, DO Foundation has broadened its scope. In our 5th year, we are providing services to families and individuals to sustain their independence.  With a growing number of support, we serve more than 50 households per year through our HSI program. And will add additional 50 household through our newly developed Job Readiness Program.

Although organizations like ours have seen a decrease in its homeless population, more than 700 of our families remain homeless in the metropolitan Detroit area.  And more 600,000 remain homeless around the country.  The need for services and support remains, while funding and increased expenses create financial uncertainty for organizations like ours.  It takes a village of like-minded individuals standing together, every single day to keep our program going.

Through our volunteers, fundraising events and donations of items and financial support - we can continue to make a difference another 5 years and more.

Fundraising plays a major part in the overall success and effort to support DO Foundation and many other nonprofit   organizations. Fundraising allows us to go that extra mile in helping the families and individuals we come in contact with each and every day.  Please consider supporting us for our 5 Year Anniversary Online Fundraiser.  Your generosity is appreciated and greatly needed.

How will we use donations?

As many of you who support DO Foundation are aware, under our HSI program we currentl own and operate 2 Supportive Living homes. As well as manage several others.  In order to continue to make these homes safe and secure, provide monthly utilities and upkeep.  As well as give us to ability to renovate and open any additional homes, we need your financial support.

Funding has and will continue to go directly toward our efforts in sustaining the homes we own, as well as operate.  That is how we have been so successful in getting so many families and individuals off the streets.

This year, our goal is to open and renovate an additional 2 homes, where we can house up to 8 individuals, and or families while we work diligently to transition them back to self-sufficiency.  Won't you stand with us while we continue to aid those in need?
