Pulled From The Pit Rescue and Rehabilitation is a FORMING 501c3 non profit Pit Bull rescue. We were founded and ran by two sisters that started out as Humane Society/Animal Control employees. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming pit bulls and pit bull mixes.

Transportation Fund: We specialize in pulling dogs off death row and out of high kill shelters. This month we have rescued over 30 dogs and puppies out of some of the worst kill shelters in California. We do all of our own transporting for our dogs that we rescue (and even assist other rescues in transporting) in a timely manner so we can get them to the rescue and started on their recovery process. We would like to start a Transportation Fund to help us with the cost of a vehicle, gas, and other transportation needs. We are also in need of a cargo van or vehicle of some sort that we transport dogs in; we have been renting vehicles which can get costly. We have done 3 transportations from California in the past month and a half.

Building Fund: Our rescue is nestled on 18 acres of beautiful land for the dogs. Right now, we are foster based but we are putting money away for our Building Fund. We are going to build a facility that can house at least 40 dogs and thus will help us save more lives. Not only do we need money donations for our facility, we also need material donations such as fencing, dog runs, kennels, and building materials of any kind. Our facility will change so many lives, please help us and the dogs make our dream come true.

Medical & Rehabilitation Fund: We have been rescuing quit a few dogs with medical and behavioral issues and funding always helps us to correct these problems. For example, we rescued Karma, a sick senior pit bull from the Carson shelter in CA. He was thought to possibly have distemper as well as needing possible eyelash surgery due to a painful condition causing the eyelashes to grow inward. We like to take in cases like Karma due to the nature of his case; he’s less likely to be rescued and more likely to be killed. We have also taken in “dog aggressive” dogs for rehabilitation to make them better, sociable dogs. This fund will help assist in their training as well.

General Fund: Our general fund is for everyday things we need around the rescue. Dog food, toys, vaccines, dewormer, cleaning supplies, collars, leashes, food bowls, black wire crates, blankets, etc. We are always accepting item donations as well as money donations for these items.

If you would like to donate to any one of our four funds, please just specify which one you would like the money/items to be applied too. Checks can also be mailed to: 3736 Mt Brynion Rd Kelso, WA 98626.

Thank you everyone for all your love, support, and donations. It means a lot to us and the dogs<3
