Justina's mom Irene, along with dad, Prodencio Dalag. survived the typhoon by staying in thier home in Tacloban.Tatay Prodencio Dalag They almost drowned but were saved by neighbors who helped them escape the submerged dwelling. But people in the surrounding communites were not as lucky. Communites like where the rest of Justina's family lived called Di-it. There communites were composed of smaller home on larger lots. They did not survive the wall of water stirred up by typhoon Yolanda. Justina lost her sister Vivian along with her niece, Kathleen, Vivian's daughter.

Vivian and Kathleen are survived by her husband Vick and son Owen.

Justina also lost her sister in-law Nila. This was Nila preparing for a family feast. Nila is survived by her husband Nelson, sons Mark, Eugene and Cyril and daughter Christianne. But they also lost Mark's family. Mark had married Diane approx a year ago and baby Cianilla was 8 months old when they where taken by the typhoon.Mark's family Baby Cianila and mom Diane

Justina's mom and dad are devastated. Irene is a very strong tenacious woman. That is were Justina gets her strength. Please help mend their broken hearts by donating to them so they may help there children and grandchildren.

I chose this paypal service because even though they have 5 percent service fee, it makes it very convenient to donate. Plus the fee for money gram still keeps the adminstrative costs low.

To tell you the truth, my mother in-law has driven me crazy thru the years. Before this tragic even, we would send her money for her own use, but, she would give the money to other people in more dire need. Then she would call us asking for more money. She is a very giving person and has very low adminstrative costs. Please help mend her broken heart with a small donation. A small donation from many people make a big difference.
