She was last seen March 27, 2021 in Pocahontas, Illinois!!
Yarieah’s father, Derrick Bowens, who has primary physical custody, had dropped Yarieah off with her mother Vannetta Haney (maiden name Vannetta Acres) and husband Jermaine Haney, per the terms of their non-custodial custody agreement. Unfortunately, Yarieah was never returned to her father, Derrick. It is suspected that the mother and her husband Jermaine A. Haney fled with Yarieah and are in Springfield, Missouri. Her father is distraught.
In 2019 Derrick Bowens became the primary custodial guardian after Yarieah was put in a Missouri foster care. She, along with her mother and 3 siblings, was being beaten, abused, and neglected and none of the children were attending school. Her living conditions were unstable and unsafe. They were all victims of domestic abuse at the hands of Vanetta’s husband, Jermaine Haney.
The Missouri court released Yarieah to her father Derrick Bowens. He moved her back to Indiana and put her in a private school and provided a stable home environment. Mr. Bowens explains that the Missouri Court System is flawed with loopholes and failed to protect Yarieah from being abused and exposed to an unhealthy environment.
It is important that people know that A FATHER's RIGHTS are blurred by the old systems in Missouri. It left those little girls and their mother, subject to emotional, physical and physiological abuse and allowed it to continue on several occasions by Vanetta’s husband and Yarieah's stepfather Jermaine Haney.

- Retain a Missouri attorney to pursue criminal and child endangerment case
- Court Fees for Mr. Bowens' Indiana Attorney Joseph Miyake who has filed emergency proceedings in Indiana
- Derrick Bowens loss income while he is attending court and traveling for hearings
- Bowens' Family subsidizing expenses
- Yarieah's private school fees that are still ongoing
- Travel, temporary housing and food
- Increase the reward money for Tips to law enforcement
- Yarieah also had a tablet that was taken by the Haney’s
If a non-custodial parent does not return the child, this is considered parental kidnapping.
A non-custodial parent is one who does not have physical custody of the children due to a court order.
