Gaming Hours is a mobile and desktop application for Windows, Android and Apple devices, designed for gamers, streamers and gaming communities, where time matters.

To achieve this, we created your own tailored, auto-sync organizer and calendar with time- conversion technology. Think of a schedule and a social network hybrid.

The application is already in a working state, we are pressing for open beta testing in march. You can join our Gaming Hours social media pages and our discord server, to find out the exact date of the beta.

Value proposition

“Time matters to everyone. Time is money right.” What’s the most essential form of organizing? A calendar.

You could say it’s not needed to organize your Gaming Hours, because it’s only a hobby. You must be someone who loves the beeping sound of your phone then. :-) Have you ever been spammed by messages, of where, when and what we are going to be playing?

In our view, in 2021 you need your own tailored, easy to use organizer for gaming. Below I will give you a couple of reasons why we think it’s a good idea and investment.

1. Gaming is an essential part of our lives; a lot of people make a living out of it. If it’s so essential then why not just post in Gaming Hours which game, on what platforms you will play and people in your network will instantly know. Easy. No messages, no hassle. Don’t worry we have a do not disturb mode too, so everyone will know you are burnt out. 😊
2. Teams, clans, communities form at every second. They need a better platform to organize their time and activities. Oh, and there is the problem of being in different time zones. Imagine some of my friends have jobs, boyfriends and girlfriends. They are so unpredictable.
3. The current solutions on the market are not tailored, hard to use, they don’t auto share. Most of them work based on invitations. We have both options in Gaming Hours. 
4. Anybody but especially streamers can be followed. An easy to use, followable calendar can help you better monetize your channels. As a streamer you won’t see your followers schedule but they will see yours. You can have unlimited followers.
5. Nobody wants to mix their gaming lives with their private or professional life. As gamers we know it’s a secret life. It’s different.
6. The platform market is divided and fragmented. It’s problematic nowadays to decide what to turn on. Steam, epic, origin, PS4, xbox, gamer pub etc or all of them. We are the solution.

Our currently working features:

The app can be used on any device that has a browser or on your android or IOS device. On IOS we plan to launch 2 months later, but you can still use Gaming Hours in Safari until then. 

All graphics are custom made by us. The app is currently only in English.

After downloading and installing the app, you can log in using your Google, Facebook, Apple or Gaming Hours account. We are currently making a funny tutorial video for our members, after watching it you get to set up the app.

Gaming Hours is a Freemium app, so you can choose from a free, a one-time payment or a subscription version.  We call these packages free, pro and “overlord”.

You have a choice to fill out your own personal profile page, from here the application will take your preferences later on, to make it easier to use. We have tried to include all games (7.800 records), all platforms for your comfort and we update them regularly.

After setting up you can go to my network, where you can add your friends, followers and create teams. If you can’t find someone you can invite them from the app.

Once you have some connections, you can go to future activities which is the main feature of the application. We have a super user post option, where we get to tell you when the newest games are releasing, you will see them in your calendar. We update these regularly too.

Here first you will see the upcoming screen. This is your feed where you get to see your followings and your friend’s nearest upcoming events.

Anywhere in this section of the app, if you press the add button it will fold out to two options. Add a Post or add an event.

Posts are simple declarations to your network. I want to play a specific game, play anything or I don’t want to be disturbed. Don’t worry we left the option to customize a post too to the fullest, if you like.

Events are where the black magic happens, you can invite connections, repeat events, set priority, set visibility for these cards and much more.

Day view shows all the records for that day, multiple events stack on each other. You can switch to “timeline view” which is a simplified view for ease of use. The weekly and monthly views are different representations of future activities.

The story

Hi my name is Mate Nemeth from Hungary. As a corporate manager, father and longtime gamer, I was furious. Why you ask?

Because I had little time to play, so I never got that sweet-sweet loot, from those pesky minimum player raids. I missed a lot of content, I did not want to play with randoms, so I was out of luck.

My friends are all over the world, they have things to do, everyone always wanted to play something else, all the time. Every morning I got the same message from all my peers. Today? When? Discord or Team Speak? Steam or PS? CS or COD? So on.

As the oldest and the busiest gamer of my community, timing and scheduling was essential for me in my private and professional life. It always bothered me deep inside that my Gaming life is so unpredictable.

I looked at my wife Regina one day and said, “wouldn’t it be easier to just get up in the morning and post all the information out somewhere and my friends would just come if they are available?”

“It would be so awesome if when I’m working or when I’m with my daughter they wouldn’t keep bothering me to come and play.”

Surprisingly she said yes, yes it would. So, Gaming Hours was born in January of 2020.

I would not like to bore you with the details of what happened, it’s the classic start up story, if you are interested please join me on the Gaming Hours discord server, I will be happy to tell you the full story.

The short version:

My wife and I founded our first company AdsRock Ltd. Hungary, to develop and operate the app. We sold everything to finance our project, found a genius development professional Zsolt to develop the app and started work. We are finishing up currently.

The team:

Our current team is 3+1 people:

My wife Regina is a marketing manager. I am from a manufacturing background; I have led departments at multiple multinational companies. Zsolt is an expert level developer, programmer and wizard.

Our plus 1 is Istvan, he doesn’t directly work with us but since he did the beautiful graphics, we consider him as a team member.

Why we need your help:

The scope of the project, as with any, has outgrown our small team, and we need your financial help to grow.

We plan this service to be a fun and easy way to organize gaming and to make life easier for streamers.  As a team we are here to stay. Our mission is to make waiting for friends foreseeable and conscious.

And yes you can schedule any type of game, even tabletop or drinking games, our hearts go out to all of you baby-boomers. :-)
