Late in the evening on November 12, 2014 Lori Graham and her family lost everything they owned when their home was destroyed in a fire.  Lori, her spouse Scott Biccum and her two daughter’s Emma (13) and Ivy (9) escaped with only the clothes on their backs.  Emma and Ivy did not even have time to put shoes on their feet.

The family was able to save their beloved dog Max and their pet bunny Mimsy, but unfortunately lost other pets in the blaze.

The family spent some time in a hotel in Brockville Ontario while looking for a place that would accommodate their needs relating to school bussing and commute to work for Lori and Scott and have now moved into a temporary home in Athens Ontario that will suit their needs until their home is rebuilt.

Now they must deal with the daunting task of obtaining some of the things that were lost in the fire, from clothing, to furniture, kitchen dishes and utensils, toys, books and many other necessities life.
