Audrey Burnett is 4 years old. She was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor on August 5, 2013. Because Audrey’s tumor took up the majority of her cerebellum and the cancer was removed during two major surgeries. After surgery, she had lost her sight, she was mute, she couldn't chew or swallow food, the left side of her body was (and still is) very weak, and she could not hold up her head, sit, stand, or walk. Not only must Audrey fight the cancer through radiation and chemo, but she must also fight to get back her motor skills through physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Audry was in the hospital for 6.5  months and was finally released in February, but she will still be doing chemo until at least Sept. 2014, and she must contiue to try to get back her motor skills. She can now talk and swallow. Her vision has returned to her right eye but is still not focusing in her left eye. Audrey can hold her head up and pretty much sit up, but she is far from being able to walk and her left side is still very weak. Audrey's mother had to quit her job to be able to care for and work with Audrey over the next few years, leaving the family with only Dad's income and tens of thousands of dollars in medical expenses. Please help Audrey's family to fight for her life and health.
