I'm trying to raise funds to support Ava.  Ava has a neurological condition that prevents her development progressing at any speed.  She suffers dozens of seizures daily and through giving to this great cause you can make a difference to her quality of life.  Whether through much needed equipment to improve daily life for Ava and her family or for intensive therapy to support her development every penny given will make a real difference.

I'm doing this by running in a series of events, 1 marathon (in South Shields) and 4 ultra marathons (Kielder 50K, Dukeries 40m, Durham Dales 30), the last and hardest of which will be the Lakeland 50; a 50 mile fell race over mountains and through the night on technical trails.  (Please note I'm terrified of heights!)  The training alone for these events will be over 1000 miles of running before the summer holidays.

As one person I can only do so much, but I'm asking for the help of friends, colleagues and even strangers who happen upon this to dig deep to change Ava's life.
