Cindy is a left leg amputee. She is a type 1 diabetic in stage 3 of kidney disease. Last year she had open heart surgery a quadruple bypass and now she has devolped a painful ulcer on her foot. Her insurance is Medicare and Medicaid which will cover only 80% of the cost of the skin graft. Her doctor has stated that the cost would be about $1,700.00 a treatment, with many treatments needed. Please help this courageous woman get the skin graft she needs and not be in jeopardy of loseing her only good leg. Once she has this ulcer healed she will be able to begin light exercise again. Thankyou Cindy and Rob. The above picture of Cindy and I was in 2009 when Cindy was still fairly healthy. Please help us fund a new skin graft. Now Cindy is also suffering from charcot foot, a painful foot disease that causes the bones to fracture and break easily. Please consider a small donation. Thankyou!! Update: Cindy has now had to have removed a large portion of her heel due to charcot. Please contribute to our fund for her.
