CONNOR, 5, has been battling the effects of arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), or tangled blood vessels in his brain, for two years. This brave boy has endured seizures, strokes, more than 20 brain surgeries and countless other procedures like MRIs and spinal taps. The AVMs have left Connor with terrible migraines, blindness in one eye and daily fatigue.

After a massive stroke on Nov. 6 that's paralyzed him on his left side, he's hospitalized in Memphis about 45 minutes away from his family (dad and siblings ages 17, 12 and 9) -- and will be for quite sometime.

To help them stay in touch with each other - as well as extended family - and help Connor's mother, Kim, take care of family business online, they need a way to communicate. (Kim stays at the hospital 24/7.)

While the hospital has Wi-Fi, they don't offer families a computer.

So I propose raising $500 to buy Kim a 3rd or 4th generation Apple iPad with 16GB.

This will allow her to:
* Process business matters online
* Make updates to Caring Bridge and Facebook
* Receive encouragement from friends and family
* Pass the terribly long hours in the hospital with online books and
music

Plus, with the FaceTime app, Connor's siblings can see him in real time.

Please note that Kim did NOT ask for this...This is my idea after visiting the hospital today.

If we each do a little, we can get a lot done! It only takes 50 people donating $10 each to reach our goal. So, please consider making a contribution.

FundRazr accepts payment via PayPal. If you don't have a PayPal account, then click "Buy as a Guest" at checkout.

I challenge us to reach the goal by Monday, Nov. 12 - so Kim can have the iPad in her hands that afternoon.

Thank you and God bless you.
