Ashley and Kerry Palmer met at Immaculate High School. They fell in love and married in 2011 and now have two beautiful girls who attend Saint Joseph School in Danbury.

In October of 2021,  Ashley was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. In the months that followed, she underwent a mastectomy and the rigors of chemotherapy. She has lived through this nightmare all while continuing to work and instill a sense of normalcy in every day life for her daughters. Never wavering in her determination to win this battle, Ashley has been incredibly resilient and strong as she continues to fight. Still in need of medical intervention, Ashley will now travel to California at the end of January, for additional treatment. Kerry and their daughters will also join so that they can stay together as a family unit for as long as treatment is needed.

The mental, emotional, and physical toll that this has taken on Ashley and her immediate and extended families cannot be adequately put into words. One only needs to step into their shoes, for even a moment, to understand the difficulties they have experienced, and that lie ahead. This campaign has been started by their friend, Megan Cerullo, with permission, to help Ashley and Kerry as they temporarily relocate to California. Funds raised will help with all expenses related to this journey, such as medical, lodging, food, and transportation. All funds will go directly to the Palmer's, at the time of the donation, which allow for immediate use for their most crucial needs.

We can only hope that this effort will lift a burden from their shoulders so that they can focus on the most important tasks at hand - to get Ashley healthy and to provide a comfortable and safe environment for their family, while in California. Your generosity is appreciated beyond words!
