Please take a minute of your time to scroll down and read my story, your time and donations are appreciated, thanks!

Hello world!

My name is Hana Alkahlout and I am a Global Health student at Arizona State University. My major has introduced me to a plethora of health issues the world has faced, and continues to face today. My life goal is to improve the health of others by solving major health problems the world faces such as obesity, world hunger, water disparity and poor sanitation, etc.

Global Health majors are required to travel abroad in specific countries to gain a universal perspective on health issues . This opportunity will allow me to expand my horizons and learn a different perspective and approach to life, knowledge, and health.

If you or anyone you know could donate any amount to fund my goal, I would so greatly appreciate it. Your time and money will fund my education, my efforts, and my devotion in helping the world improve their health. Thank you so much for considering and funding my education.

Program Details:
Global Health majors are required to choose from a list of countries with established programs that coordinate with ASU to ensure quality education and safety. Out of these countries I have chosen New Zealand. I will apply for the summer study abroad program (which is more affordable) with the help of your donation.

Here is a link with more information on New Zealand.

The courses that I would take in New Zealand are:

1. Cross Cultural Studies in Global Health

2. Urban and Environmental Health

Also available on the page of the link is a sample itinerary and sample syllabi.

Here is apart of the sample syllabi:

"New Zealand is a strategic site for examining how human health and environmental outcomes are shaped by the interplay among cultures, patterns of social organization, technology, globalization, and characteristics of the natural and built environments. By studying New Zealand we will acquire new insights into the challenges of providing equitable and effective health care, preserving environmental quality, and producing and consuming food sustainably. These are the three overarching themes of the trip. Social and environmental justice perspectives allow us to integrate and link these themes across many specific issues and cases. The program of readings, activities, and writing will stimulate you to think critically and comprehensively about major challenges confronting our increasingly urban, connected, human-dominated world."

If you would like to know more about me, or about the program, please feel free to contact me at Thank you once again for taking the time to consider funding this milestone in completing my education.
