We rescued Blinky a few weeks ago out of Richmond. She is just a pup at six months old & has not been treated very well. She has severe demodectic mange. Her skin is was dry and cracked and infected. She would scab up, move, crack and bleed again. This poor girl wants nothing more than to be in your lap and play with her new buddies. She is going to be on meds for months. Vet visits will be plentiful. This little girl has a very long road of healing ahead of her. Blinky is learning what it is like to have a soft bed of her very own & what life is like when your skin is not on fire and itching.

Noto was rescued from Isle of Wight. He is also just a baby at four months old. You would never know by the way he runs around but this boy was born with a deformed paw. We didn't think that was any reason to leave him in the shelter all alone and scared. It is unlikely he has received any medical care for this. We are not sure how this will impact him although we are sure he will require specialized medical care. The regulars like vaccinations and food are expensive, specialized medical care is very expensive. These babies need us. There are so many and we are just trying to help a few. Every penny counts just as every animal counts. If you can't help with the medical bills could you send a bag of food? If you can't send a bag of food would you come and help at an event? If you can't come help at an event can you share our dogs in need of forever homes? They are grateful, we are grateful!!! THANK YOU for helping us help them!
