Trish was diagnosed with MS in 1997 while in University. She has two young children Connor (9) and Ericka (6) and a husband Cory. After Ericka was born she started to loose her ability to walk unassisted. She has been in a wheel chair for about five years. She has always made her own way despite her challenges and hesitates to ask for help even when she really needs it because she doesn't like to bother anyone. She has always been frugal and saves to achieve her goals. She went for liberation therapy about two years ago and she gained physical and mental benefits from the procedure. Unfortunately the benefits are starting to wane and as her friend I want her to be able to feel those benefits again. Her and Cory have scrimped and saved to renovate their kitchen to be wheelchair accessible so that she can cook again but they can only do so much on their own and they have had to hold off saving for the trip in order to renovate the kitchen so that Trish can cook and bake cookies with her kids. Since Canada has yet to approve the therapy, she needs to travel to the United States to have the procedure. Please help me help her get to the US for treatment so that she can enjoy her new kitchen to it fullest! This treatment helps her have warm feet, better muscle control and keeps her from getting so exhausted. It will give her better time with her family and more energy to expend with her kids.
