Let's Get Ready is a nonprofit that works with underprivileged juniors and seniors in high school to prepare them for the SATs as well as applying for college. Our site is run out of Trinity's campus in Hartford, CT. Students attend three hour tutoring sessions twice a week, visit a minimum of 2 local colleges, receive financial aid training, and are taught a college choice curriculum. Our coaches are unpaid college-age volunteers who invest their time and energy into our program.

What's really unique about our program compared to other SAT prep courses is that all our services are free; students provide a $25 deposit that is returned to them upon completion of the program. Since we are a non-profit program, we are given a minimal budget to work with this summer. That's where we need your help! We want to make this summer of tutoring as fun and rewarding as possible for both our volunteer coaches and students. With your help, we can provide them with more incentives to come to tutoring (like snacks and small prizes for perfect attendance) and more options in terms of college visits and traveling.

We are thankful for any donation - no matter the size! Thank you so much for joining the Let's Get Ready community. We promise to continue serving our community and to better the education of our peers.
