There's something about being able to grow your own food. The independence you feel. The appreciation you have for every vegetable you touch that you knew you had a hand in. That feeling is something I want to experience and I want my children to appreciate. You don't see many black families moving out of the city to go live a self sustaining rural lifestyle these days. Modern conveniences are just to appealing, but goodness this has been in my bones for too long. What's your take?
