I'm a Canadian National Team athlete. I represented Canada at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games Qualifier in Taipei and I won gold for Canada at the 2014 U.S. Open. Please help me reach my goal of competing at the 2020 Olympics. Yes - it starts now!

I'm sending this to friends and the taekwondo community to help me raise the funds to train in Seoul and then compete at the Korea Open in late July.

As most of you know, I am on the Canadian National Team and representing Canada at a number of international competitions. As you also know, all of these competitions are self-funded - we don't get any assistance from our NSO.

The cost for me to compete in taekwondo is more than $20,000 a year. My parents have been huge supporters, but I'm looking to help by doing some 'crowdfunding'.

Some career highlights - so far:

  • Canadian National Team athlete
  • Canadian National Champion
  • Ontario Provincial Champion
  • 2014 Youth Olympics Games Qualifiers - Taipei, Taiwan
  • 2014 US Open gold medalist - Las Vegas, NV
  • 2013 Dutch Open bronze medalist - Eindhoven, Netherlands

I have a long way to go to make it to the 2020 Olympics, but that is my goal. This training and these competitions are helping to get me there. I really hope you can help.
