Lori had a week of veterinary expenses trying to save her baby's life. Chanella was her 7 year old Pug mix which was a rescue when she was a puppy.

Chanella became lethargic and not herself. It was necessary to take her to the emergency veterinary clinic. The emergency vet kept her and gave her IV fluids so Lori could take her to her regular vet who would be more affordable.

With much difficulty in diagnosing the cause of her problem . Chanella under went surgery but was not doing well with anesthesia. Surgery was stopped. The vet thought Chanella had a bowel obstruction............as time went on and expenses continued to mount up........The vet was trying medically to help Chanella pass the obstruction.  He felt Chanella was not strong enough to endure another surgery. She had some better days slightly but then started going down. The obstruction was not passing or if so very slowly. The final damage to her  internally was not known.  To add insult to injury in the final days the vet also diagnosed Chanella with an auto-immune disorder which would make her quality of life poor even if she made it through the obstruction. Heartbreaking!!!

With much difficulty being a heartbreaking decision,  Lori and Michelle with the vet's advice decided it was best for Chanella to help her over the Rainbow Bridge so she could be pain free, run and play for always.   If any of you have ever had to make this decision you know how heartbreaking it is to see your pet suffer in pain without relief. Making this decision is one of the most difficult thing ever..............

This fundrazr is to help Lori recover some of her expenses. Any small amount you can donate helps and is appreciated. Thank you so much for your contribution.
