Isaiah Horst was diagnosed with ALL Luekemia at age 3, while receiving the chemo treatments he  began a paralysis that went upward from his feet to his lungs causing him to have a tracheostomy and needing to be on a ventilator at age 6. He then went through many difficulties and therapies, in and out of the hospital, going through surgeries, missing out on family time. He then relapsed with ALL at age 6 and went through a BMT (bone marrow transplant) which was successful, he is now cancer free! Praise the Lord! But his paralysis is permanent and he is on the ventilator as well. We have a hadicap van to be able to transport him to and from doctors appointments which are many in DC, to school, to and from church, and to visit friends, however, we just lost the van due to it blowing a plug which stripped the engine and so we now have no way of transporting him. He was enjoying his freshman year of school, but he is now stuck at home until we find another van or the school can work something out. So we are asking you to help us be able to afford another van for us to be able to transport Isaiah! The holidays are coming up and it won't be the same if we can't transport Isaiah to be with family and enjoy the gatherings! We do not have the resources to be able to financially afford another van due to all of Isaiah's health situations, we have only one income for our family and we used up everything we had for his healthcare, so that is why I am asking everyone to support us and give towards another van for our family to be able to transport Isaiah again! Thank you so much for your prayers and support.
