For those of you that know me, know I am a true gentleman when it comes to being a Rottweiler. For those of you who do not, here is my story.

My name is Pride, I am an 8 year old Rottweiler, raised by my mom and dad, Katherine and Brian Clark. I have a 4 year old adopted sister named Coco, who I can't live without, even though she likes to chew on my leg and bite my ears!

Right now my Daddy, who is in the Air Force, is away in Texas and won't be home until April. My Mom announced to our family on Christmas that we will be growing by one! I am going to be having a human brother or sister in July :)

In the past few weeks, my paw began to hurt, it was hard to walk which forced me to limp. Mom scheduled an appointment at the vet on January 8. That was the day my family received the dreadful news, I have osteosarcoma (bone cancer). The bone in my paw is practically gone, which requires me to have my leg amputated. This needs to be done as soon as possible, because bone cancer spreads very quickly. After my amputation I will be required to continue with a holistic cancer treatment and pain management. If this is not done then my parents will have to put me down and I am NOT ready to go. I haven't finished my bucket list yet! I want to see my Daddy come home in April. I want to meet my first human baby brother or sister in July. And I really need to be there for Coco!

As you can tell, it will be really hard for my family to lose me, so we are asking for your help without it hurting your own family. Friends and family told my parents that fundraising can work... I surely hope so. If you find yourself on this page, please consider a donation to me. A little bit from each of you may be enough to heal me and improve my quality of life. Those who can not afford to donate, can donate a prayer for me and my family.

With love and high hopes,
Pride, the gentleman!
