Hi, my name is Lindsey and I’ve had the pleasure of being a foster mama to over 50 newborn kittens and mother cats over the last few years. When I signed up to be a foster, not having any experience with cats really, I had no idea how much joy and sense of purpose it would bring me when at that time in my life, I probably needed it the most. I have learned so much and have found pure unconditional love while caring for my tiny foster kitties. It certainly can be tough at times, with the bottles feeding every 2 hours in the night, or dealing with a very sick neonatal kitten, but the hard work and the effort barely compares to all the wonderful things I’ve experienced along the way caring for these sweet babies. It’s so incredibly rewarding when you see a foster you raised from days old become a big kitty going to their furever family and all the happiness and joy they bring to their new home. I know the amount of kittens and cats needing help out there is completely overwhelming, I wish I could save every last one. If I can’t save them all, I will certainly do my very best to save as many as I’m able. 

I created this fundraiser in the hopes of raising funds to help cover costs of vaccines, microchipping, and spay/neuter surgeries for my current group of 6 adorable kittens. I usually foster through a local rescue, but when I received them it was in the height of kitten season, and I didn’t want to swamp their already stretched resources. I decided I myself would try and cover all the costs of care of getting them ready to be adopted to their furever homes. 

If you could contribute anything, no matter how small, the kittens and I will be forever grateful! I have 2 surgeries scheduled for next week, so I’m hoping to raise enough to take care of those in the next few days.
