Paula Greene hasn't added a story.
The Cameron-Wright reunion was created as a result of a beloved family member's deathbed wish. Her name was Cleo Wright, and her final request was for disputing relatives, the Camerons and the Wrights to reunite. Hence in 1981, the first family reunion was held in St. Louis, MO. The family reunion eventually dissipated in 2005 once the family reunion founding member and then family matriarch, Etta Cameron Greene, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Now, we’re trying to resurrect the family reunion 11 years later with a grand finale family bbq in Ferguson, MO at the home of new St. Louis area family matriarch, Family Reunion Chairperson and “Best Ferguson Home Garden July 2015 Winner”, Paula Greene (Etta Cameron Greene’s second daughter). The proceeds raised will help to finance this family BBQ, in addition to bringing down other costs for our reunion weekend (including our "meet & greet", banquet, family photo, and T-shirts.) The local St. Louis family is super-excited to host our upcoming reunion and have recently raised $600 at a bowling fundraising event! Please help us to further our fundraising efforts and reunite relatives now living across the US to reestablish this Family Reunion, which is long overdue.
