Animal Aid of Tulsa hasn't added a story.
PLEASE SHARE! ..... animalaid.org
It's the time of year, we are grateful for so much. We are grateful for this awesome community who has helped so many over the years! Too many amazing stories of despair turned to hope, wonderful adoptions and more to thank you for. We come to you again with a few needs, humbly asking for your help.
***Since we started this Fundrazr, we have three new intakes today so we are adding them to this, and is reflected in the total needed. These three are italicized and bold for reference, and pictured in center row.
The first two are a father/son we've named VADER and
LUKE. Vader was hit by a car, with a severely injured leg.
He's evidently had this injury for a while, because there are so
many breaks in the leg that have been left untreated, it is going to
require amputation, as well as an infection so terrible, it can be
smelled in the patient room next-door. So far, the son Luke looks to
be OK, but will need rounds of shots, neutering, and routine medical
care before adoption. Further tests are being done to confirm his
health.
The third pup is Champion, we're calling CHAMP, a severely malnourished pup who was brought into the Vet Hospital and told the staff he found the pup a week ago. He is struggling to live right now, and we're just hoping and believing with medical care he will champion through this to live a happy, healthy, loving life with a family.***
PATTY, We have shared with you about this sweet girl, hit by a car. She had been dealing with this injury for so long, and she had to have an amputation. Donations are needed for her amputation, spay, boarding and medical care. The Fundrazr posted earlier for her didn't raise the funds we had hoped, so we are rolling it into this one. She would LOVE to be in a foster home to recuperate. To foster, Please complete the foster app at animalaid.org. *UPDATE - She is recovering, and a very loving girl overcoming her amputation and is a successful tripawd.
LUCY & RICARDO, a bonded pair found by one of our AAOT Thrift Store supporters. The doctors say Lucy must have had an old break that never healed properly. Because of that, she has had an amputation. Ricardo had severe demodex. A foster home is needed for them to recuperate until they are adopted.
OSCAR - a cute 3 month old kitten dumped at the AAOT Thrift Store.
LULU. This adorable basset came into the program extremely emaciated in North Tulsa about a year ago. She was adopted out. Without going into detais, they moved and could no longer keep her and she was found in SC. We'll give more details on our FB page soon, but donations are needed for her medical care and boarding now. She is available now for immediate foster or adoption!
We are so thankful for this community who gives so much! Any and all amounts ($5, $10, $25, $50 or more) #MakeADifference - please donate what you can! Thank You in advance for your generosity!
LET'S GO TEAM! Let's MEET OUR GOAL to fully care for and adopt these pets!
