05-04-2016 UPDATE!!!:
BIG UPDATE!!!
First of all, we want to thank you so much from the bottom of our
hearts for your generosity!
We took Daisy for an XRAY and had an
MRI done.
"Left sided T2-weighted hyperintensity over the body of T13 (mostly caudal) with some disc material present at T13-L1 (not causing significant compression) with meningeal contrast enhancement -- Suspect a low volume, high velocity disc extrusion"
In other words, her disc is broken on her left side with fluid build up due to trauma. If she would need surgery or not, it depends if she will get better within a month. We will keep you all updated on that. We have to give her physical therapy on her leg and allow her to try to walk on it. (Which is why she has a bootie on for outside to wear) They expect gradual improvement within the following weeks and to give medication as she needs it. If not, we'll have to contact them again.. So praying that it won't come to that!
We still need the funds for all the medical costs.
We used the $250 from this fund to pay and it's all thanks to you! We lowered the cost to $2000. (Due to interest on this website and for therapy too) Thank you so much, everyone. We're so grateful and overwhelmed with all the support we're getting! Daisy thanks you too! We'll let you know if she doesn't improved and if we have to raise the costs again.

After:
On April 24th, 2016, we let Daisy outside in our backyard to run around and use the bathroom. Fifteen or more minutes passed and we found her with both of her rear legs paralyzed. There were some gashes found on her and a swollen bruise on her left leg. We have no idea who could have done this to her within so little time and it breaks our hearts to see her this way. We were in a panic calling every vet in town. Once we got ahold of one, they gave her shots and medicine to help with inflammation on her spine. The vet said it was a disc in her back and that she will need surgery if she doesn’t heal on her own. A little over a week has passed, and her right leg is able to move again, but her left leg is still incapable. She can put weight on her left leg, but not move it. She has been trying really hard to get better, but she needs our help to do so. The surgery she needs is going to cost us $4000 or more and it is really putting a bind on us.
We also have our wedding coming up and everything has become a financial mess for us. We even have a fund here to help us cover our wedding expenses, which has been up for a while. This all hurts us a lot with everything we are trying to do and to start our new life together. It just seems like one thing after another has been really hurting us and we really could use everyone’s help. Whether it’s small amount of money or just simply spreading the word. Anything would help us cover Daisy’s surgery. Putting her down isn’t an option for us. Especially because of her fight to live. So please help us if you are able. It will mean the world to us.
