If you knew that your neighbours were being targeted and killed
right in your own community, would you be silent? We speak up for so
many causes, many rightly so, yet we quietly ignore the attack on
the most innocent and vulnerable members of the human family. Inside
their mother’s wombs, they should be safe to grow and develop the
strength they need to continue living in the outside world. They
already have their own DNA, little hands, feet, and hearts that beat
– they are our family members, our neighbours, and our friends.
One in five Canadian children are violently attacked and
killed in their mothers’ wombs. It’s mind-blowing to know that
Canada has no abortion laws, allowing abortions to be performed in
all 9 months of pregnancy, for any reason or no reason at all.
This summer CCBR's internship will be even bigger than it was
last year. We are excited to have 56 summer interns and team
leaders joining our regular staff team – that’s right:
FIFTY-SIX! They have courageously set aside their
summers to fight the injustice of abortion and see lives saved and
mothers and fathers spared from the heart-wrenching aftermath that
comes with abortion.
We’ll also be hitting the road on CCBR’s Faces of
Abortion Tour, which will cover all ten Canadian

Our team is growing! Our second batch of interns is starting in July,
joining the interns who have been on the ground since May.
Meet our two-month intern team directly below, and if you
haven't checked out the profiles of those who started in May - they
are posted below these new ones.
We
are excited to introduce you to our team of interns and summer staff!
Below are pictures along with inspirations from them, starting with
the members who started in May. Check back in as we will introduce you
to the rest of the 2-month interns closer to their July start date.
First to join us are the Team Leaders and Return Interns. Eight of them joined us before the rest of the interns arrived, in order to prepare for the summer and lead well.
