The Sparrow Rescue needs a new home base!

• Introduce yourself and/or the beneficiary.
  We are the largest sparrow rescue organization in North America; providing lifesaving rehabilitation care for hundreds of compromised baby wild birds each year. 
• We do more than just bird rehab
  In addition to our wild bird rescue efforts, we conduct dozens of educational and classroom seminars for our community, teaching the basics of baby bird care and the value of environmental conservation for future generations. 
  
  
• Our organization makes a measurable difference of life and death for thousands upon thousands of wild birds in our community 
  Before the establishment of our organization, nearly all baby sparrows, wild finches and similar such birds were gassed to death upon receipt by other local wildlife rehabs. This was the standard in practice for nearly 40 years before we were founded to stop this. The absence of our efforts would cause this to once again be the fate of baby wild birds brought in to other rescues. The rescues won't usually tell people that they are going to gas those babies, and they will happily accept monetary donations  by people bringing in those birds, who are unwittingly bringing the birds to their unnecessary death.

Our organization's home base has unexpectedly become uninhabitable and will be undergoing a number of lengthy repairs. This has caused us to suddenly have nowhere to base our efforts and the many hundreds of wild bird rescue patients we receive each year.
