Their vet appointment is on January 30th at 430p...  As ya'll know, with Yondu's passing we've kept a particularly close eye on her siblings... Rocket is 100% fine (likely has a different daddy), Groot has a very mild version of megacolon (he's fine and gaining weight as long as he's on a specific diet & regiment)... Quill has a *suspected* heart murmur but besides that doesn't seem to have GI issues other than certain foods upset his stomach... Nebula is a mystery... I have my theories about what's wrong with her but I'm going to spare the speculation & rely on the vet/tests and what we find... She likely has a moderate form of megacolon & some malabsorptive issues like Yondu. Nebbie has not weighed more than 2.5# (other than just after a meal) while Quill (for reference) weighs over 4#... They've been treated for every kind of parasite & worm multiple times so I'm confident that is not the cause (plus she was gaining weight until she hit 2.5#). I don't know if her condition is time limited (fatal) or if it's something totally treatable ... but with Yondu's health problems I really believe we need to rule everything else out before we come to that conclusion... therefore, this is likely to be an expensive vet visit ... but, she is worth it. We did learn about Yondu's condition which can help us tailor some of the tests but again, she could be her own independent hot mess not related to Yondu ...We greatly need answers as to what their future holds. These tests are generally really expensive. Can you please help?
