  1. My name is Alden Miller and I'm asking for your assistance for my Father.
  2. My father, Jimmy Miller, is a Marine Vet and a double amputee. Around 1 year ago his wheelchair broke down and a very kind police officer stopped and pushed him where he needed to go. The news story went a little viral and he received a new electric wheelchair. Now, a year later, he was crossing the street in his wheelchair and was hit by a car, throwing him from his wheelchair and causing severe injuries and destroying his new electric wheelchair. He's currently at Kettering Medical Center in a coma and has a fractured pelvic and suffered a stroke.
  3. The money would be to cover any costs that we cannot cover. The person who hit him is claiming no fault and wants their $500 deductible paid. There may be extra hospital bills not covered by his insurance. His electric wheelchair is destroyed so we need to buy a new one for him. Since he's a double amputee it's his only way to travel. Any additional funds would go towards additional unknown bills including the time I have to miss work and the daily travel of nearly 1 hour each way to visit him in the hospital.
  4. I'm asking that if you can spare anything at all it would be greatly appreciated. Furthermore, if you could please share this it would mean a lot to my family and myself.
  5. My Father is a strong person suffering multiple heart attacks, strokes, quadruple bypass surgery, 2 leg amputations and 11 years in the marines. I'm confident that he will be able to wake from his coma and recover. It saddens me to know that his only concern immediately after the accident was if his wheelchair was ok, instead if worrying about his health. Thank you for taking the time to read this and God bless anyone willing to help.
