The Burleson FFA Alumni is made up of parents of the chapter members as well as friends of the program. We are a non-profit organization that relies on the monies earned through our fundraising efforts and donations. The FFA Alumni is committed to supporting the students and Ag teachers at both Burleson and Burleson Centennial High Schools. To put it simply, Two Schools, One Purpose!
This is our main fundraiser for the year. Last year, we spent an average of $110 per student which totaled around $11,000 on students and their activities. Students and teachers in both programs benefit from our efforts. The Alumni funds scholarships for graduating Seniors, provides snacks for students at contests, meals at stock shows, monies for students that make County Sale, Senior buckles, and student meals at banquet. We also help with teachers requests when we can. For example, we purchased GPS units for BHS FFA last year as well as purchased meal tickets for CHS FFA at State Convention. These would not be possible without your support.
Please know that with the Burleson FFA Alumni your contribution is tax deductible. Your donations go directly to these FFA Alumni sponsored events and activities for Burleson FFA and Burleson Centennial FFA. Your donation is greatly appreciated.
