On behalf of the City Rocks Utica basketball organization, I would like to extend an invitation to you to become a sponsor for our 2014 season.  With your help our players are soaring to new heights.

City Rocks Utica is a franchise of the nationally known Albany City Rocks organization based in Albany, NY.  Albany City Rocks was established in 1993 as a 501(c)(3) not for profit charitable organization.  It serves a diverse group of youth in upstate NY, with roughly 60% of participants coming from under privileged backgrounds. It has helped over 150 scholar athletes attain Full Athletic Scholarships to Universities such as Syracuse, Notre Dame, Boston College, Wake Forrest, Colgate, Cornell, Pittsburgh, Fordham, Yale, Brown and many others.     

It is our goal is to cultivate basketball and academic success.  Our advisory board members emphasize sportsmanship, discipline, confidence and most importantly a balance of academic and athletic excellence.   During our practices and competitions our players are trained to become stronger both physically and in character. Our training benefits the players for the rest of their lives. City Rocks Utica has a philosophy of building up the next generation to positively impact the world around them.

 The success of last year’s season has generated a great deal of interest in our organization, creating a reputation as one of Upstate New York’s elite basketball travel teams.  We are looking to expand this year to four teams.  In order to maximize our impact, we need financial support from dedicated individuals and companies that share our passion for youth.  Your tax deductible donations will defray costs associated with uniforms, facility usage, tournament fees, and traveling expenses.  All funds raised will go directly to our program, as our board members and coaches are volunteers.
