Every dollar you donate, is matched by the government in Indonesia. 2008 waste management laws in Indonesia legislated that communities build their own TPST sorting and collection stations. But until today the projects have not been successful. The reason for this is missing separation at source. Mixed waste is impossible to manage and most of it ends up in the dump or in rivers.

The main key to successfully managing waste/ materials is to enforce separation. Villages can do this on their local level and MPH provides the tools to help them with this lengthy process and transition. The MPH Circular approach empowers and builds trust and ultimately makes every community owned facility a complete success.

In Indonesia 90% of waste is still being mismanaged and there is a drastic need, for functioning infrastructure.

Help us develop and scale this much needed infrastructure.
