  • On Saturday, June 16, 2018, Frank and I will be participating in the ”Stop the Heroin Recovery Celebration Walk” on the Atlantic City NJ boardwalk. As most of you know, our daughter Anastasia lost her battle with addiction on November 16, 2014. Our lives were forever changed on that day. Anastasia was the light of our life and Gods’s gift to us. There are no words to describe the unspeakable loss we bear every day.  We are walking in Her Memory and would love to have you join us. This organization provides sober living for those in recovery. Addiction affects not only the person, but the family as well. Our wish is that no family has to deal with the loss of a loved one to this disease. Please join us in the fight and help someone in recovery have the chance at the healthy, sober and happy life that Anastasia was robbed of. Thank you for your support and we hope you will join our team and walk with us.

Stop the Heroin is dedicated to helping people who have successfully completed rehab transition into a sober living facility. We are often contacted by counselors who has a client who is going to be discharged but lack the funds to go into sober living.

Sober living is often an overlooked and under recognized but extremely valuable to ongoing sobriety. In fact, the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine study states "among those who stayed in recovery housing for more than 60 days, more than 50 percent were drug-free at six months"

Stop the Heroin is a 501c3 organization ran completely by volunteers. 100% of donations go toward our mission of helping people into sober living.

We take care of the deposit, administrative fee, and first two weeks. This can be anywhere from $600 to $900, depending on the facility.

Since April 2016, we have helped over 150 people into sober living. Most continue to thrive in their sobriety.
