My name is Tabitha Jennings, I am reaching out today on behalf of
Madelin, Jake, Genevieve, Elden, Porter, Calder, and Kerrilyn Jennings
also known as (The Super Awesome Jennings Family). Jake is my husband
Adam's brother and I have known him since the age of 10. Jake is a
hardworking father, loving husband, dedicated brother, and from what I
hear, a super average Dungeon Master, who needs our support.
As many of you know, on Thursday July 25th Jake suffered from a
fall that resulted in a brain bleed. The following day Jake was
admitted into the ICU at St. Francis in Peoria where he has been for
the past two weeks. At this time there is not yet a clear path or
timeline for when Jake will graduate from ICU to in patient care.
While both sides of the family have been doing everything we can to
support Maddie and the kids during this challenging time, the family
could really benefit from having some longer term assistance for childcare.
I am starting this fundraiser to try to raise some money to
assist in finding some extra help for a few hours a day for Maddie
with the kids and cover misc expenses associated with lots of time in
the ICU, and with Jake being out of work. Thank you so much to those
who have volunteered to make dinners, have donated money for food, and
who have helped watch the kids over the past two weeks. The road ahead
is going to be long and bumpy so any help you can provide to the
family as they navigate this tragedy and figure out what their new
normal is would be greatly appreciated.
