We are McCune Solar Works. We operate our manufacturing as a cooperative. My name is Chuck McCune. I am the CEO.

We invented PV Stop (Potential Voltage and Hazard Stop System), US Patent # 9,791,835 B2, a unique patented system of devices for Firefighter and EMS safety when responding to fires and other emergencies. The system, offered under the SceneSafe® trademark,  shuts off any potential hazard operated with a switch or valve. Our staff has decades of International Disaster Analysis. We believe these systems are essential for Emergency Management Agencies dealing with future large scale catastrophic events.

First responders - We call them Heroes, yet we don't give them the support and safety they deserve. They run into danger when others run out.

The Problem – Obstructions, Gas, and Electrical Hazard and myriad other life threatening situations

Firefighters arrive on scene - Call Utility company to drop the power lines – Wait for 45 minutes to 1 ½ Hours – while the fire burns.

Firefighters arrive on scene, need to shut off gas. Service may not be accessible or in a known location. There may be numerous valves to shut off.

Firefighters arrive on scene, Solar PV on the roof – Cannot vent the roof or stream water on the roof without risk of electrocution hazard.

Firefighters arrive on scene and shut off the Solar PV (still live) but, then a generator or battery activates and the location is unknown. It presents electrocution hazard/shutdown problem.

Solar PV, Batteries, Generators, Utility Grid Power, Gas - All present a potential danger to firefighters and first responders.

Our patented SceneSafe® devices are now being tested, improved and finalized for pilot projects and large scale production.

One Button, One Command, All off in 2 Seconds with visual and audible status indicators. SceneSafe® exceeds the NEC 690.12 Rapid Shutdown requirements for Solar PV.

 The Solution - SceneSafe® - It’s a standard of excellence, it’s a specification, it’s a methodology, it’s a mission. If the label doesn't say SceneSafe®, it's not.

As we operate as a worker owned co-op, we don't fit the Wall Street mold when it comes to investors and raising capital. The solar industry has been slow and even obstructive to adopting safety devices for firefighters. So we are taking this to the people to support our first responders and get these systems implemented quickly nationwide. Through this crowdfunding effort, we're ramping up a factory at the Albuquerque International Airport to produce these life saving devices. McCune Solar WorksWe will donate a portion of the net profits to fallen and injured first responders, their families and Firefighter/EMS organizations nationwide over the entire life of these products.

You can help a first responder go home to their family safely after an emergency incident and support their nationwide non-profit associations that promote firefighter health and safety. Please help us begin manufacturing these essential safety devices. All contributors will benefit from special offers, resources, and consideration by the Company and the Co-op. We dedicate our efforts to all injured and fallen first responders and their families.
