My name is Khim, and I’m a 31-year-old photographer based in Stockholm. My journey here hasn’t been easy. Living with bipolar disorder has been an uphill battle, and for years, I didn’t know how to manage it. A difficult childhood set me on a path filled with challenges, and for a long time, I struggled to find purpose.

I’ve faced some of life’s hardest moments—losing loved ones, my children, and even hope. There were times I didn’t think I’d make it. But through the darkness, I discovered something that gave me light: photography.

Photography became more than a hobby. It became my medicine, my therapy, and my voice. Capturing moments through the lens showed me that even in chaos, there is beauty. It taught me to see the world in a way I hadn’t before—and, more importantly, it gave me the strength to keep going.

Now, I’m determined to turn my passion into a profession. I want to start my own photography business, not just to support myself but to rebuild my life, reconnect with my kids, and create something I can be proud of. I want to dedicate my time and energy to capturing memories for others while creating a brighter future for myself and my family.

But I can’t do this alone. Starting a business requires resources I currently don’t have. I need equipment, software, and the means to market myself to potential clients. That’s where I need your help.
