Sue Crabtree hasn't added a story.
In a world where, sometimes, friends and family can feel so limited, I have 2 very special people in my life.
I first met Jahba soon after Jeremy Hammond was arrested and he quickly became my hero and my friend. Not long after that, Jahba was my family. For years now, he and his son, Johnny, have been so special to me. It’s easy to say that I love them both very much.
Many of you are probably aware of the struggles Jahba has endured when it comes to the care and custody of Johnny. I’ve witnessed it for at least the last 2 years. I’ve watched Jahba do his best to remain calm and focus on the care of Johnny while dealing with an ex-wife who mentally cycles up and down and uses the child as a tool against Jahba. One minute she only wants to be Johnny’s babysitter and the next, she wishes to be a parent which she is completely incapable of being.
The last time she saw her son was on December 20th. She made no attempt to see Johnny for Christmas and, while ranting publicly on Facebook and making threats against Jahba to have him beaten up, she still has made no attempt to see the little boy she claims to care so deeply for. Children are not a game of tug-of-war. This is where I am in need of your help.
As evidenced by the attached threats, Esme is clearly in need of mental health assistance, though, to date, she has refused that help and is intent on threatening Jahba and throwing insults at anyone who has any relationship with Jahba and Johnny. Jahba desperately needs to get in to court and request sole custody of Johnny with supervised visitation with Esme until such time as Esme can accept the help that she so clearly needs. One look at her very public facebook will reveal the level of madness this woman is presently suffering. https://www.facebook.com/esme.alice.3
I am calling on the community to assist Jahba to financially afford a lawyer that will fight to keep Johnny safe and in the care and custody of his father. I have seen enough in the last years to know that the child is best served with his daddy.
Our goal is to raise $3,000.00 as a down payment for a lawyer that will fight for Johnny’s rights and also for the rights of the daddy that loves his son enough to protect him and keep him safe. Jahba has been in to court representing himself in the past and lost. Recently, he applied for a restraining order after threats were made against his safety and was denied this order as well. He needs legal representation to protect this child and to ensure he has a bright and safe future. These boys deserve to be happy together. I ask you to help make this happen. Thank you in advance.
Here is just a small sample of the last few days of Esme and threats made against Jahba. She needs Psychiatric assistance but is refusing. Johnny does not belong in her care in this condition. You can see from her misspelled words at times, that something is very wrong: Here is just a sample of images of Esme http://imgur.com/a/NjySx
