Tony Forte is a 7yr old boy,who is currently awaiting a life saving transplant of his stomach, intestinal tract and at the time of transplant he will receive a liver. Tony suffers from the loss of function from his colon and intestinal tract due to Total Colonic Hirschsprung's Disease.

At 6 days old, Tony was diagnosed at the Penn State Children's Hospital in Hershey, PA. Tony lives everyday with life-saving equipment such as an Ostomy Bag for fecal waste, a GTube to feed him thru his stomach and a Broviac Cath inserted in his chest so that he can receive IV Nutrition for 18hrs a day,7 days a week.

Our family was told almost a year ago when Tony was first evaluated out at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, that we would have to raise at least $1mil-2million dollars to offset the uninsured medical expenses that his MA Insurance will NOT cover. Our family will have to temporarily re-locate out to Pitt for a period of 6-12 mos. Tonys' recuperation will be very lengthy and he will have to remain near the hospital. Our family will NOT be able to work and will receive only a limited amount of gov't assistance- our family desperately NEEDS YOUR HELP!

The funds raised so far are in a Special Needs Trust that will help with travel/lodging/meals/ and daily living expenses both here at home and out at Pittsburgh for all of Tony's needs as well as any future medical expenses that he may incur. We have a great community of businesses, family and friends who have been effortlessly holding fundraisers to help get closer to that goal.

Please checkout the FB Pages of Monica Walker Forte (His Mom) ,Tony's Challlenge, Tony's Helpers and the Antonio Forte Transplant Fund Trust. His two older brothers' Vinny and Dominic Forte have created a business where they bake 1lb breads and cakes and have a huge following . The funds they have raised will not only benefit Tony ,but will also go on to help other charities once Tony receives his much needed transplant. Their business is lovingly called "My Brother's Breads, LLC" They can also be found at their website at

Tony's brothers' created a website at to learn more about Tony and his story. With your HELP - Tony will have a better quality of life and as he referes himself to "Pinocchio" he too will be a "real boy" and be free of his strings.

On behalf of Tony and our family- we are and will be forever grateful and thankful for your donation! Let's wish upon that star for TONY and spread the word !
