Heartworm treatment is next week and we still need to raise funds. Please support this campaign with $5.00, $10.00, or $20.00.
Thanks! Mercy Rescue and Adoption
Meet Jasper!
We originally called this boy Duddly, he came to us a neglected, very poorly cared for boy that was running the streets. He finally got tired of running and walked into an animal lovers open kennel. We immediately got him cleaned up and then sent him for neuter to find out he was microchipped. We even contacted his owner to see about reconnecting them and they wanted nothing to do with him when they found out he had heartworms. Said they couldn't afford the treatment even after we offered to help. Sad to say whatever their situation was in life they had no right neglecting this poor boy.

Meet Rosebud!
She was found wondering the country roads with not an owner in sight! A sweet family is fostering her. She loves to swim in the creek and play with the children. She is a delightful girl with a loving personality. We just completed her vetting and found out she was heartworm positive too!

Meet Clifford!
He was brought to our animal control as a stray. No one ever claimed him so he was put up for adoption. He's a super sweet guy and was adopted. When getting his vetting he was found to be heartworm positive. Clifford was returned to the shelter because the owner couldn't afford the 1000.00 treatment. We stepped in to help and placed him in our foster program. Clifford has been fully vetted. Now we need to raise the funds to get him the treatment and get him into a forever home! He's an amazing 6-7 year old guy! We already have fell in love with him and can't wait to get him well so he can be adopted.

Meet Olive!
Her story is one terribly hard to believe. She was taken in July 4 by a foster family. Immediately they noticed something was wrong. She then needed emergency surgery to repair her bowel and her other family hadn't even noticed something wrong. The family spent $2500 to make this happen. While having this surgery they also found out she was heartworm positive. Olive will remain with her family and not be for adoption but we are going to help with the treatment. She's about a year and half tiny, little thing that was so neglected! Shame on owners who let animals get in these situations.
