Nevaeh's condition is called IgA Nephropathy which is an ESRD or end stage renal disease. Her particular disease is caused by a genetic calcification disorder which is causing all of her organs to turn into stone. Neither one of her kidneys are functioning correctly and she is on dialysis 3 days a week. Nevaeh is also receiving one pint of blood every dialysis treatment because her bone marrow has been completely depleted and is no longer producing red blood cells.

The primary reason we're trying to find funding is so Nevaeh can find other doctors that are willing to help treat her for her full set of needs, not necessarily the way they treat patients on Medicaid and Medicare. She has been fighting her whole life to survive her nephropaty with the means she chould afford, and her hope is that with a little bit of outside help and encouragement that she will be able to see more capable doctors, such as the Saints Vincents transplant team  in Cincinnati Ohio. They transplant out of Indiana and she is a decent candidate for their program, but it costs a lot of money and she's been working very hard for it. Nevaeh has recently lost both her employment and her home, and needs help ASAP.
