My name is Jane. I am an animal advocate in Houston,Texas. I mostly volunteer with Friends For Life and foster kittens until they are old enough to be adopted.

I also believe that feral cats deserve the right to live outside and that humans must support their well being. I have found a particular feral cat that needs medical attention that I can not provide alone. A local veterinary hospital has agreed to treat this cat at a reduced cost.

This beautiful male cat will most likey require amputation of his right foreleg. The hospital will sedate him, x-ray the limb , and amputate it if necessary. He will receive antibiotics , pain meds and 4 days of medical boarding. My husband is building a large recovery cage that will be located inside a garage where we can attend to his needs after he is released from the hospital. When his sutures ae removed and the doctor gives permission we will release him . Hopefully he will remain on my property .

I am very grateful that the veterinary hospital is being so very generous but even they can not do this for free and I simply am unable to cover the cost alone. Please help me help contributing and sharing this plea.
