The Zoryan Institute needs your help!

As supporters of the Institute, we know that you're passionate about its mission. Now, more than ever, the Institute needs your renewed financial support to continue the research, documentation, and education of some of the most pressing issues of today.

Since the Institute's inception, it has published 52 books and over 500 academic papers, founded 2 international peer-reviewed journals, hosted 135 lectures and studied over 50 ethnic groups. Additionally, the Institute's Genocide and Human Rights University Program recently celebrated its 15th year of success with over 400 students, from 40 countries who have graduated to date, with the help of 42 faculty members, experts in their respective fields.

The Institute recently launched its online educational video platform, "ZI e-Chronicles." These clips reveal exclusive Zoryan Institute interviews with some of the most renowned scholars in the field of genocide and Human Rights Studies. Some of the topics covered to date include: The Azeri-Armenian conflict over Karabagh, the German Bundestag's Resolution on the Armenian Genocide, the treatment of minorities in Turkey and whether or not Armenians have a legal case for restitution. These clips can be viewed by visiting the ZI e-Chronicles YouTube page at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxk3iNPbWckhFO-N2HvSrDA .

The work of the Institute is far from over. As you are reading this, millions of refugees are fleeing countries that are experiencing water scarcity and food insecurity. With a depletion of natural resources, exacerbated by the increase of population due to migration, the Institute is predicting an increase of cross-border skirmishes, internal conflict and even genocide.

The Institute understands that in order to prevent these atrocities from happening in the future, the world needs to stand together now and put the study of these risks to human security at the forefront of national and international agendas. We have included a link to a short documentary by Bars Media, titled, “Blanketed Snow” that demonstrates the impact that climate change is making on safe drinking water in Armenia https://vimeo.com/155133238. The Institute is doing its part in planning international conferences, publications and seminars, in order to help prevent these atrocities from happening, but we need your help to make these projects a reality.
