31 on 31

On Friday, November 3, 2023, I am participating in a 31-mile (50K) ruck down Tennessee Route 31 from downtown Nashville, south to Spring Hill.

I'm personally raising money to support the Well Outreach in Spring Hill, Tennessee.

I'll specifically be donating all contributions towards the JetPack Feeding Program, which is a program I also volunteer with. The JetPack Project is a backpack food program providing nutritious, non-perishable food to hungry children of food-deficient households for the weekend during the school year. Packs of food are discreetly placed in a child’s backpack or locker for them to take home from school.

My goal is to get $10 per mile (31 x $10 = $310), but I'd love to blow that out of the water! Feel free to contribute any dollar amount you are comfortable with! As an added bonus, just for anyone who contributes, I plan to share live updates during the event through social media (I'll provide more details on this as we get closer to the event).

Event Details

• When :
  • Start: Fri, Nov 3 at 7pm
    End:  Sat, Nov 4 at 7am
• What :
  • Overnight ruck (what is rucking?) covering exactly 31 miles (50K), alongside other men from F3 Spring Hill.
    
• Where :
  • Starting location — in the center of downtown Nashville (1st and Broadway).  At 7pm, all ruckers will then ruck together heading south on Hwy 31 (8th Ave to Franklin Rd to Columbia Rd) all the way to Longview Rec in Spring Hill, TN.
• How :
  • Ruckers must carry a ruck with least 31 lbs of weight.
