Update - Event is Cancelled Mikyia mo (Greetings), We are going to cancel the communal observance event initially scheduled for September 16th. Our Aakhuamu New Year will take place from September 16-22 with September 22nd being our New Year of 13018. We then focus on the ebe (Divine wisdom teaching) of that particular day - how it has been incorporated in our lives, the lives of our Nsamanfo and how we can incorporate it in the coming year. As this is the time of the year where Asaase Afua (Earth Mother) is reaching a state of equilibrium (equinox) we take advantage of that shift in energy to balance and equilibrate ourselves.
