Let us break it down for you! - right off the bat, half of the budget ($10,000.00) will go towards gear for filming (camera rental, van rental, grip gear, lighting gear, etc) - from there, we will have to pay for insurance for the gear, permits for filming at outdoor locations as well as fees for filming at indoor locations - then we need to feed our hardworking crew (who are all working for free or for a honorarium for their kits) **this is really the most important for keeping a crew happy! - once the actual filming is done, there are post-production fees for editing and music - once the film is edited and ready for the world to see, there are application fees for every festival we want to submit to, plus rental fees if we want to screen it in a theatre So, when we say that every little bit helps, it's true! Your donation will help us get a little extra food for the crew, or help us apply to one more film festival, or help us get one more song into the film… and the list goes on.
