Mikyia mo (Greetings), We arrived in Florida today for our on-location filming of Seshat's segment for our documentary - AMARUKAFO ADEBISA ADWUMADI: African-American Ancestral Divination Project. [See the image on our page if you cannot see it in your email: www.fundrazr.com/Amarukafo_Adebisa There was rain earlier in the day which caused a short delay. However, the weather cleared up and things got underway. The attached image is a group of over 40 opete - vultures - who greeted us as we were driving near one of the filming locations. Naturally, we stopped the car and took some pictures. Opete, vultures, are akyeneboa (sacred animal totems) of the Great Mother Abosom (Deities) as well as the Nananom Nsamanfo (Spiritually Cultivated Ancestresses and Ancestors of our direct-blood circles). This was/is a great acknowledgement from the Abosom and our Nananom Nsamanfo of the work we are embarking upon and sets the proper tone. We will wrap-up the Florida filming this week and then move on to Georgia and Virginia. Yeda ase (we thank you) to those who have contributed over the past couple of days. We just surpassed the 64% mark. Every contribution is valuable and we appreciate all who have contributed thus far. The funds are not only for the equipment and software but also to assist with filming on-location in the necessary states: Florida, Georgia, Virginia, Alabama, Mississippi, Ohio, Illinois and New Orleans.
